Draw your first territory

Create a zone on the map, name it, and assign a rep or team.

Territories are polygons on the Field map. They tell reps where to work and let managers audit coverage.

Draw a zone

  1. Open Field in the web dashboard (also labeled Territories in some views).
  2. Switch to Draw zone mode.
  3. Click points around the neighborhood to outline the area.
  4. Close the polygon and save.
  5. Name the zone and pick a color.

Other ways to create zones

  • ZIP or postcode search: enter codes and save the boundary.
  • County or region: pick an admin boundary from the map.
  • Import GeoJSON or KML if you already have turf files.

Assign the zone

Open the zone detail panel. Assign a member or team on Pro. Assigned reps see the zone on mobile and get a notification when you assign new turf.
